IFZA and Aleria Collaborate to Advance AI Driven Digital Capabilities for Free Zones
Davos, Switzerland | January 20, 2026 — The International Free Zone Authority (IFZA) has entered into a strategic collaboration with Aleria, an enterprise AI and data intelligence company and IHC Group affiliate, to advance the application of artificial intelligence across IFZA’s operating model and digital services.
The collaboration was formalised at IHC House in Davos during the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting 2026. It establishes a framework to apply AI as core digital infrastructure across IFZA’s ecosystem, supporting operational efficiency, governance, and service delivery at scale.
With more than 80,000 registered companies, IFZA is one of the largest free zone authorities globally. The collaboration reflects IFZA’s focus on strengthening its digital foundation through practical, enterprise grade AI deployment rather than experimental use cases.
Applying AI as Operating Infrastructure
Under the collaboration, Aleria will support IFZA in deploying its AI operating system and intelligence layer across selected digital services and internal workflows. The objective is to integrate AI capabilities that enable structured data use, real time insight generation, and decision support across complex institutional environments.
Aleria’s platform is designed to operate within regulated settings, enabling organisations to deploy AI while maintaining control over data infrastructure, governance frameworks, and jurisdictional requirements.
IFZA AI Super App and Digital Services
As part of the collaboration, IFZA will explore the development of an AI enabled digital platform designed to provide unified access to services, communications, and operational intelligence across its ecosystem.
Powered by Aleria’s platform, the initiative aims to support automation, predictive analytics, and more responsive service delivery, while maintaining transparency, accountability, and data control.
Governance, Sovereignty, and Data Control
A core principle of the collaboration is sovereignty. IFZA will retain control over its data and digital infrastructure, ensuring AI systems operate within defined governance and compliance boundaries.
The collaboration includes plans to assess secure AI infrastructure and data environments that support AI training, inference, and analytics while aligning with regulatory and jurisdictional requirements.
Executive Intelligence and Decision Support
IFZA will also explore the deployment of executive level intelligence tools designed to provide near real time visibility into operational performance, trends, and strategic indicators. These capabilities are intended to support informed decision making across leadership and governance structures.
Long Term Digital Capability
This collaboration represents a step toward building long term digital capability rather than short term experimentation. By focusing on execution, governance, and measurable outcomes, IFZA and Aleria are aligned on deploying AI as a durable operating layer that supports sustainable growth and institutional resilience.
