Zayed Humanitarian Foundation introduces AI applications in partnership with Aleria
The Zayed Charitable & Humanitarian Foundation has signed a memorandum of understanding with Aleria, marking a new step in the UAE’s use of artificial intelligence to strengthen humanitarian operations.
The collaboration, announced in Abu Dhabi, aims to apply AI technologies to optimize aid distribution, automate logistics, and accelerate field response times. By integrating Aleria’s sovereign AI capabilities, the Foundation will streamline administrative processes, analyze beneficiary data in real time, and identify the most urgent areas for assistance—enhancing both speed and accuracy in humanitarian delivery.
The MoU was signed by Dr. Mohammed Ateeq Al Falahi, Director-General of the Foundation, and Eric Leandri, CEO of Aleria. The partnership will introduce AI across all stages of the Foundation’s work—from needs assessment and inventory management to operations in remote or hard-to-reach regions.
This initiative underscores the Foundation’s commitment to leveraging AI innovation within the UAE’s humanitarian ecosystem, improving efficiency, and maximizing the impact of charitable activities both locally and internationally.
